Should 504s Be Allowed In Schools

Imagine you end up pursuing a career in becoming a primary or secondary teacher thinking about how wonderful it's going to be to be able to work with kids and be able to educate them, only for it to become your worst nightmare. In this day in age, students all throughout the world are becoming more and more disrespectful to our educators. It comes from many different points of view and reasons, but most schools use these reasons as excuses to let students get away with it. One major cause of this is students with IEP or 504 accommodations being able to get away with this behavior. And when teachers finally put their foot down on this behavior, they are to blame for the student acting out. Since schools are scared of getting in trouble and called out by “parents” (quotes because in my opinion gentle parenting isn't real parenting since there's no discipline, it's just an excuse to treat your kid as your friend) on social media, they don’t take the actions they need to take. Suspending students or expelling students is not very common nowadays due to the factors stated above. My personal opinion on this matter is that it’s not fair for educators to be treated like garbage all the time. They really do not get paid enough to deal with all of this stress and anxiety 5 days of the week. As someone who knows teachers personally, it has really caused them such a negative impact and it really makes me sad because no teacher ever deserves treatment like this. All teachers are trying to do is do their jobs and help students around the world learn things to help them out in life later on. Yes, it's not the most fun thing to do, but that is no excuse to be disrespectful to not just the teachers but your peers as
