When it comes to World War 1, it shaped what we see as war now. New technology impacted World War 1 by creating a new way to fight a war and kill lots of soldiers. According to the text a new way to kill lots of soldiers at once was created "Once the wind was deemed favorable, the cylinders were open and the gas floated with the breeze, carrying death to the enemy."
