I believe there should be recess in middle school because they can meet their friends.They can meet their friends because they might not be in the same class. They can also make new friends. It also helps students set goals for themselves. It also builds positive relationships with peers. According to “May Reaction,” “Additional recess provides more opportunity to build those all-important social skills that students will use for a lifetime.” This proves that kids need to socialize with other people.

There should be recess in middle school because they need physical activity. It is important because they won’t be inside all day. According to “KidsHealth” “ Exercise improves school performance and makes kids less likely to develop depression.
