Everyone has experienced a dream they want to hold on to and never let go. A dream can always motivate a person to succeed, whether it be in life or in a book. Having a dream can help benefit many prosperities. A dream can motivate someone to succeed by allowing them to keep moving forward, but also it helps gain self-confidence, like much demonstrated by George and Lennie in Of Mice and Men and Romeo to Juliet in the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. A dream is much needed in the minds of human beings, it is what gives us life. In the magnificent book Of Mice and Men written by John Steinbeck, he impersonates the pursing of a dream. The two characters, George and Lennie have a dream to one day have their own ranch. To be able to tend their own animals and work on their own time. This dream kept them moving forward even after a tragic accident Lennie committed in their old job. At this point their dream should have been a death drop. George did not give up there, a dream always motives someone to keep succeeding, and it is exactly what it did to George.
