Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was born April 20 1889; He was born in Austria where he spent most of his childhood and teenage years. His father, Alois, retired from civil service in 1895 creating a tense and strict atmosphere at home for six year old Adolf. When Hitler was only 13 years old his father passed away therefore his mother, Klara, had to care for Hitler and his siblings on her own, those times ware pretty tough for the Hitler household. Hitler was only 16 years old when he quit school and never thought about continuing or returning. He dreamed of becoming an artist for a very long time, so in 1907 he applied to an art school The Vienna Academy of Art. Where he believed he could excel and succeed, he later realized it was impossible due to the lack of knowledge to pass the entrance exam and failing. He became pretty angry right after, then a few months after that his mother Klara passed away from breast cancer.
After his mother passed he decided to go and give his dream another shot, once again he tried to apply for the Art Academy only this time the academy did not allow him to test again, after being rejected for a second time Hitler gave up on his dream of becoming an artist, he then spent the next four years in Vienna, he would make postcards, maps and architectural drawings which he sold for money although it was sufficient for a living, he also had the inheritance from his mother to live off not ever having to financially worry. During this time period Hitler started to gain interest in politics and became influenced by Pan- Germanism which was the idea or principle of political unification of all Europeans German or a Germanic language. Hitler survived in World War I but to avoid military service in the Australian Army, Hitler moved to Munich, Germany in May 1913, then as soon as World War I broke out, which was a war between the allies (Russia, France, British Empire, Italy, United States, Japan, Rumania, Belgium, Greece, Portugal, Montenegro) and the Central Powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey, Bulgaria) for four years (1914 to 1918) Hitler asked for and received special permission to serve in the Bavarian-German army. Adolf Hitler quickly proved to be a courageous solder. By December 1994, he was awarded the Iron Cross (second class) which held a certain level of prestige in the waning days of 1939; in the past wars. In October 1916 he was wounded by a grenade splinter, and in August 1918 He was awarded the The Iron Cross (First Class) which had a greater value. On October 13, 1918, a gas attack caused him to go temporary blind. But they said it wouldn’t be a long recovery. While recuperating in a hospital, Hitler heard the news of the end of the war and Germany’s defeat. He was pretty angry about it. His anger and feelings of betrayal shaped his and the world’s future soon becoming one of the worst, most terrifying occurrences the world has ever seen. The dictionary defines the Holocaust as also known as the mass murder or genocide of approximately six million Jews during World War II a program of systematic state – sponsored murder by Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, throughout the German Reich and German-occupied territories. Soldiers under the instruction of Hitler would enter family’s homes demanding they leave and accompany them with the lie that the Jewish families would be better off where they were being taken. Then they would be searched and take all their valuable items, separated them from each other. The guys, women and kids would be separated into different groups according to their abilities to work. All the man and woman that were able to work ware kept to do slave work while all the pregnant and younger children were killed using gas chambers, by being starved to death, or any cruel way they were ordered to do so because of their inability to work or provide
