The final topic is a summary of your thoughts on the discussion. In order to receive full credit, your response must be a minimum of 12 sentences in length and include the following:
1. mention of your initial thoughts, if they have changed over the course of the discussion, and why or why not
2. if any information or insight was gained from reading discussion responses made by others; if so, what information or insight did you gain.
3. a potential solution to any one problem covered in this discussion. Include the citation of one (1) source (not from course materials or comments by classmates) that supports your proposed solution. Include ideas about how your solution might be instituted and if money is required, how your solution could be funded. If you viewed the information on TV, you must provide details. Simply stating "I saw it on TV" or "It was on Channel 6" is inadequate and will not earn full points. You must name a specific program including date and channel for full credit. Value: 60 point
My initial posting’s thoughts were very pessimistic. I described my view of the global, local and in between world as overrun by greed, personal gain and selfishness. Although my views on this have remained, my overall view of the world has become more complex after reading other postings. Though other’s views have not technically shifted my own, there are many aspects of our world today that I do agree are positive. After reading posts from others with optimistic views, I have found some positive traits of our world today. Our world has made many technological and social improvements that have made many numerous opportunities for individuals to progress. Internet access gives me a positive outlook for the global world’s
