I arrived early for a jury trial that Agent Wood was subpoenaed for, but it was cancelled. While in the office, Agent Wood received a call from the hospital to report an overdose and release of TS. Tomorrow, she has an office visit coming up and she will be drug tested. There is an intake appointment on the schedule. Agent Wood would have to request a portal transfer, so she can receive it before she arrives. JL is in custody. She is more open to residential treatment for her substance abuse. We are going to take her statement later. Intake appointments are very important when getting to know a parolee. They discuss a full history of education, employment, substance use, criminal history and more to build a case plan. Today is the first part of JJs intake appointment. …show more content…
All parolees are required to pay restitution in full before they can make payments on supervision and court fees. WRNA is used to automate risk and need assessment to aid in case planning. This will be the second intake visit for CP. Outside of her 18 original rules, there was an absolutely sobriety and no contact rules added. While in prison, CP’s student loans defaulted. Agent Wood provided additional details on how to approach the accrued debt. They were unable to finish the intake checklist. They usually talk about more but discussing personal issues can take up appointment time. The third office visit was with BH. This is her first visit since Friday’s arrest. Following the arrest, her daughter was removed from her custody. Instead of sending her home with an approved family member, her daughter was sent to a foster home. She takes responsibility for not doing everything that she was supposed to, but feels like her daughter is suffering the most. Our last office visit was cancelled due to an allergic
