Since this product is mainly based around active lifestyle consumers, there is some areas where older adults might not need the features. There might not be a need for a calories calculator or a daily distance calculator depending on how active the elder consumer actually is. However, to start things off, this product already offers some features that older adults could find useful. The heartrate calculator can figure out the heartrate trend of a person on a twenty-four hour period for seven days a week, the screen size is large enough in order for older adults to not struggle to look at it, and the watch is designed for all day wear, so older adults do not have to worry about taking it off until it is running low on batteries. One thing that could be changed about the watch is that the button control on the product could be easier for older adults to handle. Whether this means a different button look or a touch screen instead of buttons in general, there is potential for it to be unappealing to elderly or those with some diseases such as Parkinson's disease.
