In the video Alike Short Film it shows this little boy Paste who has so much energy and loves listening to music and drawing. The very beginning of the video it shows the Father, Copi shoving a lot of books into a backpack and Paste running around. I also noticed that it was in different shades of grey but Paste who is running around at the time is in color. A minute into the video it shows the dad taking him to school but they pass by a person who is playing an instrument, and Paste stops to mimic the person and dance to the music. When Paste copies the person, Copi grabs him and takes him to school while he goes to work. During work, Copi is typing and beside him he has 2 large stacks of paper he must finish before he leaves. After some time, he slumps into his chair from typing so much and then when it’s time for him to leave it shows that he has finished all his work, he’s pushed back from his desk but also staring at the clock waiting for it to be time for him to leave. …show more content…
After watching the video for just a few minutes my opinion of what’s going on is that its showing how boring the world would be if everyone just went to work then went home. Its shows that with no creativity everyone would be the same, would be doing the exact same thing. Creativity is a way for us to express ourselves and in this video, it shows how when the dad is working he can’t express himself that all he does the whole time is just type.
