The industrial revolution of the 19th century brought about significant changes in the lives of Europeans. Before the industrial revolution, 70% of the population lived in rural areas and focused on agriculture where they produce what they eat and made most of the things they use which includes but not limited to furniture, cloths, shoes and tools.
