i. The battle of Bunker hill was between the United colonies and the British. The colonies gained information stating that the British wanted to gain control of the Boston Harbor by gaining control of Bunker Hill. Therefore, the United Colonies occupied the hill waiting for the British to arrive. The battle was a lose for the Colonies but due to the high death count of the British it was not a total loss in the end.

a. Order of Battle
i. June 16 1775 the united colonies occupied breed hill ii. June 17 1775 the British see the patriots on the hill, and attack from the sea. Then later led an attack by land. The first two attacks the British were attacked with heavy artillery and had to retreat. iii. They then attacked a third time, the patriots had run out of ammunition and retreated. The British captured breeds hill then bunker hill.

b. Results: British victory. The battle of bunker hill was the first victory for the British. The British sustained a large amount of casualties, which would later hinder the British and gave the patriots hope.
