The sadistic rapist purpose with his crimes is to fulfill his sexual fantasies when committing the crimes, which is what Johnson is doing when he is hunting his victim. This kind of rapist is using mentally or physically torture against his victims, and according to me Johnson is doing that as well when he lets the victims loose and is starting to hunt them that is a kind of torture. The sadistic rapist is most likely to kill his victims after the rape, Johnson did that too since he killed at least 17 of his victims and most of his victims ended up being murdered. Johnson was also planning his m.o. and brought his murder weapon with him as the sadistic rapist do too. The sadistic rapist also transports his victims because he needs time with them, which is what Johnson did when he transported his victims to a wilderness area to have the time too hunt them. Johnson was using handcuffs to control the victims during the transportation, and handcuffs is something that is normally used by this kind of rapist. The fact that Johnson has a family with children is also something the sadistic rapist also
