I want to be a Certified Medical Assistant because I love the gratification of being able to provide exceptional healthcare to my residents and patients. I achieved academic success to graduate from high school with a little more than two years of healthcare experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant taking care of patients that I built a lasting relationship and bond with over the years. My personal work experience helped guide me to furthering my education for a passionate career providing care to others. Personal health struggles have also struck my interest to learn all that I can about different healthcare fields to gain knowledge for myself and to help other individuals like those who have helped me. A study, conducted by the American Association of Medical Assistants, shows that around five percent of medical assistants receive a salary, while the rest earn hourly wages. Among the information gathered in past years about only ten percent of Medical Assistants top out at the higher end of the pay scale while the bottom ten percent average an annual income closer to the $30,000 dollar mark.
