In the beginning of “a Christmas Carol” a character named Ebenezer Scrooge has very certain feelings for christmas, he is very grouchy and malcontent with christmas spirit, he feels as if it is a dumb time of year. But the Ghosts of christmas past, present, and future realize this.

Act 1, Scene 1 of “a Christmas Carol.” The ghost of christmas past, shows scrooge his past of being happy and kind towards others. Scrooge then realizes what he had lost and starts to regret, but not fully.

Later on the ghost of christmas present shows Scrooge his niece and nephew, he starts feeling guilty. Because of how bad he treated them two. He then asks the ghost of christmas future to see his nephew so he can apologize to him.
