My Childhood My mother (Martha) and my father (Scott) got married a couple years before they had children. First they had my older sister (Dottie) and then two years later they had my twin sister (Shelby) and I. They were both really big druggies before they had us. My mom did meth and by dad did cocaine. My dad did his drug around us while we were younger, but my mom never did hers around us.
They were having a get together one night and my father saw us walking around the house with all these druggies and decided he needed to change. So he threw his cocaine down the drain. Dottie said “They put their gun in my face because they thought I was mom.” Everyone was crying and I was still so confused on what was going on.
Finally everyone leaves. My aunt and uncle got put in the back of a paddy wagon and taken away. We find out that we can’t live with our mom anymore. So the next day at school we had to say goodbye to all of our friends. Our mom pulls up to the school to pick us up, Dottie is already in the car and as soon as Shelby and I get in we all start crying. My mom then calls my step mom and ask if they could come pick us up so we could live with them.
We get home pack our stuff and wait for our step mom to come get us. We give our hugs to our mom and say see ya later. We climb into the truck. Our mom says thank you to our step mom and we pull away. Our mom ended up going to jail for eight days and then having to go to MECCA for
