Professional athletes sometimes are paid millions of dollars a season, so why not pay college athletes too? College athletes put in just as much effort and are valued almost like professionals. They don’t have to get paid millions, but enough to help them wouldn’t be bad. Athletes could also use the extra money to pay tuition, or necessities in order to live. As a student and athlete, They have to be able to complete work provided by their classes, study for tests, and they also have to be able to attend practices and games that are required in order to stay on the team. Even though college athletes are just students and are not at the professional level of their sport, they should be given money for playing and putting in just as much dedication
