Reason 1 is people used it for fertile soil. In Document A it shows a map of where the fertile soil changed was near and located in the nile river. Having fertile soil changed Egyptians lives by growing crops and being able to farm. Reason 2 is people were able to use the Nile River to travel and trade. In Document C it is stating, about traveling is " Boats traveling downstream to the north often just floated with the help of steering oars". Traveling and trading changed Egyptians lives by people retrieving materials they needed in order to survive their daily life. Reason 3 is about people were were able to have protection. In Document D it is showing how the river is surrounded by people's home. Being able to use the Nile for protection changed the lives of people by having protection so they would not get attacked by enemies. Having access to the Nile River helped make Egypt one of the most powerful civilizations by letting farmers grow crops. Also it let people of transportation from place to place.
