When referred to evil, everybody considers it wrongdoing and/or sinful as there is nothing good associated with the term. But if there is a God in this world then why does God allow evil acts to occur in this world? Many may argue there is no God due to this because if there was a God then he would not allow “evil” things. If God does not allow evil actions to occur, but yet these wrong acts/events still occur then many may argue that God is not possible with the existence of Evil. But in order for Evil to exist existence then there must be God’s existence to balance out the world. That is because without Evil occurring in this world, then the existence of God would be considered not possible. If there would be no wrong and cruel acts in this world, then the individual would never learn to acquire virtues and progress spiritually through these experiences. Without evil our free will would not exist, therefore, he allows evil because our free actions are worthy of choosing right and wrong decisions. The individual will suffer at times and through these life experiences the individual will learn to love, forgive, etc., all these traits which are considered to be practiced through God. Evil is seen through many ways such as through another individual, nature, and/or illness. It is through this suffering that leads us to believe in the existence of God. Through faith we come to believe God’s existence and not question why he allows this suffering to occur, but question how will this suffering affect our lives from that point on even though we do not understand his plan. Evil exists because it plays a role in the Omni-God’s divine plan, a plan we are not aware of. We can believe the existence of god and evil are compatible because god gives us the option of whether or not to have evil in our lives and that is through the free will. As stated before, the existence of evil is part of God’s divine plan. He is well aware of Evil and how it affects our lives. The existence of evil is needed for free will to be possible. Through free will, our actions are what may cause us to suffer. We have the choice of choosing our decisions which holds us accountable from suffering at times and what we consider to be ‘“evil”. They are compatible because they balance out our lives as we need the bad experiences to gain virtue and character. If we would have a world with no evil, then everyone would be the same as they will never learn from their wrongs and would never be affected from choices as they would know the outcome. We cannot question why these things happen to us because if we did know all the bad events that would happen in our lives then we would do the right choice every time, avoiding these
