Throughout one's life course, there are learning experiences geared towards fostering growth and development and challenging one's intellect. Theorists have posited many reasons to account for why we are the way we are, and why we do the things we do. This growth is a process through which individual and society change in response to each other.
It is for this very reason that I propose to look at development through the ages and by extension how this journey impact us innately or environmentally. Development means successively asking broader and deeper questions of the relationship between oneself and the world.
