The "Standard Version" of the epic was found in Ninevah. There are twelve tablets.
Gilagamesh lived sometime around 2750 B.C.E (page 29 of text). The oral stories of Gilgamesh were probably written down centuries before, maybe around 2000 B.C. The stories' original language was Babylonian's language. The epic was probably put together around 1200 B.C.E. according to page 29 in the text it states the epic was put into its definitive form around this time.

Gilgamesh's city is called Uruk. The text described him as "A hero born of Uruk".

Gilgamesh is supposed to protect them and provide peace to them. The gods created Enkidu to be Gilgamesh's counterforce. As prayers received by Aruru "Now create someone for him, to match the ardour of his energies!"
Shamash is the Sun God. Ishtar is Goddess of Love (Page 30).
According to the text (line 83-84 in the text), Enkidu "the warrior: offspring of silence, shooting star of Ninurta.". In one of the videos you listed he was labeled a wild man. He becomes fully human when Gilgamesh sends out a harlot, Shamhat, to seduce him and make him like man and tells him to turn from the wild and come with her. This also makes the animals see him as an alien. After Shamhat makes him like man and speaks with him of Uruk the Sheepfold, he takes on the characteristics of a man and "Knowing his own mind now, he would seek for a friend". After this encounter Enkidu becomes civilized and responds to her, because now "her speech was acceptable". This suggests about human nature and sexuality that its in a man's nature to be attracted to a woman who presents herself as Shamhat did. Shamhat's doings brought him out of his wild state and tamed
