Ethical reasoning can mean many in perspective ways. According to the website it states “Ethical reasoning pertains to the rights and wrongs of human conduct. Each person has standards that are defined by their personal values which come into play when the person faces certain dilemmas or decisions. Commonly, ethical differences occur because of individual interpretation of a subject or event, or may be political or religious in nature.” In my own perspective Ethical reasoning, is that we should do our duty and respect the right of others, because we affirm of these actions. Putting Wall-mart in NYC can have a huge impact on both the pros and cons. According to an article, one of the biggest cons, that makes NYC bad, is that many companies around the area will lose their price market value and they will close because Walmart has great deals and sales. The pros of Walmart entering NYC Is the fact that it can help middle class and low income people buy goods for their home. New Yorkers do not want to have Wal-Mart entering New York City Five boroughs due to the fact of there wages and not so great benefits. One of the City Councilman Charles Barron has said “Don't even think about coming into east New York. We're desperate for jobs, but we're not going to take anything. We want jobs with dignity, jobs with integrity, jobs with self-respect.”. According to the textbook an expert defined Corporate social responsibility, “The notion that corporations have an obligation to constituent groups in society other than stockholders and beyond that prescribed by law or union contract”. The purposes that Corporate social responsibility has four main purpose that was created in a Pyramid called Carroll's Global Corporate Social Responsibility Pyramid. From the bottom of the pyramid it is called the Economic Responsibility. Economic Responsibility is to make a profit, with consistent of expectation for international business. Second is Legal Responsibility, which means to obey the law set forth by society. Third, which is closely linked to the second one, called Ethical responsibility. What is right even if the business is not compelled to do so by law. The Fourth is the Philanthropic Responsibility. Described by resources contributed by corporation toward social, educational recreational, and cultural
