In addition to that the average cost per nurse hired is € 100 and this is € 183.65 lower than the average. The other two strategies, journal ads and applicants from university programs, are also recommendable and it also allows the hospital to approach a higher variety of different applicants.

The table (data 3) above illustrates how the recruitment would look like if the hospital focuses on those three recruiting strategies. Especially the differences in the average are enormous in comparison to the old strategies. The average cost is 114.16 instead of 283.65 this is an decrease of 169.49. In addition, if the hospital would operate those strategies, they would get for every 3.4th applicant one accepted job offer, while it was 5.25 with the old recruitment strategies.
