Desmond Tutu, a South African leader, once said, “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness” (Brainy quotes). Even in the darkness there is still hope. In the 1930’s people had trouble finding the hope. During the 1930’s, it became difficult to excite people but hopping for new ideas like art, science, and technology made it better. To begin, the arts helped people in the 1930’s to come out of their shells and to create something new like music, art, and theater. First, in the 1930’s the journey to space became unimaginable. Going into space seemed unimaginable but the discovery of different planets became more widespread.
