Why is it necessary to use the same balloon for experimental trial? What could happen if you used a different balloon for each trail?
It is necessary to use the same balloon for each experimental trial because each balloon is different. If a different balloon was used for each trial, the measurement of the inflated balloon might change even if you use the same measurements for the ingredients because one balloon could be stretched out more than another balloon.
Which beverage produced the greatest amount of carbon dioxide?
Coca-Cola produced the greatest amount of carbon dioxide, the volume of the balloon was cm3 with using two tablespoons of the carbonated beverage and one teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate.
Which beverage produced the least

What would be the consequences if you added 2 tablespoons of water to the beverage before you added the bicarbonate?
The consequence of adding two tablespoons of water to the beverage before adding the bicarbonate would be that the reaction between the beverage and sodium bicarbonate would be weak or nonexistent, leading to a smaller circumference of the inflated balloon.
What sources of error can occur in this lab? Explain your reasoning.
Sources of error that can occur in this lab would be using the size of bottle for the experiment. If the bottle is too big, then the reaction of the carbonated beverage and sodium bicarbonate would not have enough energy to reach the top of the bottle and inflate the balloon as it would if the container was smaller.
Explain the control for this experiment. If there is no control, how would you add a control to the experiment?
The control for the experiment is the balloon and the carbonated beverage bottle because we only use one balloon and bottle throughout the entire lab. Each trial used the exact same balloon and container, the carbonated beverage bottle so that no trial would have an advantage or
