Since the party goers can’t hear the police officers knocking at the door and were able to see them through a window signing, it is likely that the offers got their attention by possibly flashing a flash light in through the window. After the party goers seen this they opened the door and possibly communicated with officers with pen and paper and or if the officer was able to communicate through American Sign Language.

The code of Hammurabi was the early law code that gave victims’ rights against the perpetrator. It established a short lived “victims’ rights statue”, it protected the weak from the strong and kept the strong in their place.

Crisis-“A specific set of temporary circumstances that result in a state of upset and disequilibrium, characterized by an inability to cope with a particular situation”.
There are three particular stages that a victim goes through in a crisis one being impact; the effect right after the crime. Two, recoil the process in which the victim is still learning to accept that they were victimized. This might be the hardest part as it comes with many emotions and can sometime mentally immobilize a person. Three is the recognition stage, by this time the victim is learning to re-adapt to regular living and has begun to diminish the intensity of feeling fear and rage. Victims can never erase the crime from their minds but will continue to keep at ease as time goes on.
