It was next to impossible for Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers to escape Alcatraz. Alcatraz was built for the worst criminals prisions couldn't handle. They were counted 12 times a day and only had a matress during the night. Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers were unsuccessful when they tried to make it out alive when escaping Alcatraz. It was almost impossibal for prisioners to escape Alcatraz. In the text "Escape from Alcatraz" it states "Now all that stood between them and freedom was a 15-foot fence and the crashing, shark-infested waters of the bay." This reveals that the escapees had a very slim chance of escaping because sharks are very dangerous and if you climb a fence with guards around it is very noticeable. Also, in the text it states "Indeed, a body was found floating in the bay, but it was never identified". This shows that it would be a huge couincidence to find another body on the same night the criminals tried to escape.
