In the short story, The Most Dangerous Game, by Richard Connell. The antagonist, General Zaroff, creates the illusion that he is a kindhearted caring individual; however in reality he is a vicious cold-blooded murderer. One way that General Zaroff presents the illusion that he is kind, is when he says to Rainsford, “ We shouldn’t be chatting here. We can talk later. Now you want clothes, food, rest.
