Although having a Co-Ed school is good at times, they distract each other and students could get more done without the distraction of one another, and attending a single sex school provides a better environment for kids to learn, benefiting both girls and boys.
Boys are easily distracted by a girl’s outer appearance. Showing this type of attention to a girl could then cause them to be distracted as well. Mixing the two could make the two students fail their classes and most likely be a part of unnecessary drama affiliated with the opposite gender. “Going to a unisex school would benefit the child’s education. Boys and girls are found to try harder in their looks for the opposite sex. They take more time complaining and trying hard to look good, rather than studying and or doing homework.(Henegan) Their priorities are mixed around in the wrong order. Students should worry less on their looks and more on their academics.
Outer appearance mainly affects girls more than boys. They feel the need to attract the boys with their face, rather than their personality. “Worrying about the wrong things affects other things in the long run. Priorities in school should be about expanding your knowledge and capabilities and single-sex schools help with that.” (Henegan) The person does not feel the need as much to worry about their outer appearance, but more about approaching themselves. Most of these schools taught that specific gender what they needed to know during their time.
