As explained in Part A, I was responsible for the creation and implementation of a new simulation curriculum for final year medical students. This involved designing a new set of simulation scenarios to be used. Initially I had decided that I wanted to use the simulation sessions to allow students to practice clinical decision making and team working skills whilst developing their approach to assessing a sick patient.
