But most of them are business building, parking lots or they hotels. I feel that slightly pointless, because we already have a lot of parking lots, hotels and business building in Los Angeles. I propose a dorm like system to alleviate the struggles of homeless veterans. Just like a school dorm each apartment will have about 7-8 people and will include two baths, two restroom,a living room and a small kitchen. Each dorm has their age separation ,meaning each dorm is specific to an age type.Eighteen to twenty eight will be in one dorm, twenty eight to forty will be another and last forty to fifty will last one. Apartment won't be Co-ed.This will grant then opportunities to make friends with other veterans in the same situation as them. Some of them did say they don't really talk to other people often and would try to avoid others. They will be provided with health support, food, classes and they will be provided a counselor to help them into society. Each floor in the building in each building will have the own counselor. They would also help with job training and college application if any want to apply to college. They will also be offering group therapy, yoga , meditation, cooking classes and etc . This program will be afforded in different states but should be first tested in one state. It will be a two to three year program but this time some veterans should be able to fit into society.
