Have you ever checked if the horoscope was correct? If the horoscope were wrong what would you do? Abandon it? In this paper, you will get to know how false the horoscopes and astrology is. The first reason why a horoscope is false is a very big reason that it is false. Horoscope is a small part of astrology. Astrology is based on how many constellations that the sun passes. The sun passes a total of 13 constellations. However, astrology states that the sun passes 12 stars. Astrology just took away one constellation just to make it fit our own calendar. Also, the sun passes each constellation at different time lengths. Astrology lengthens or shortens the time the sun would pass each constellation to make the time that the sun passes each constellation equal. These two reasons show how false astrology is. The second reason why a horoscope is false is that no human being knows their future and other people’s future. The horoscope predicts the person’s day, but no one knows exactly what will happen except for God. For example, what if a horoscope predicted the person would do great things and the person trying to do great things ended up in jail? The person might say to the judge that the horoscope told the person that he or she would do great things and by trying to …show more content…
Science is based on repeatable facts, but astrology cannot be repeated. A person might say that the horoscope was true for that day, but was it true for all the other days? No. So the horoscopes are not true all the time. Thus, astrology is not science since astrology is not repeatable. Also, astrology takes away responsibility of a person. For example, lets say a person was a doctor. However, the horoscope for that day said that bad things would happen to the person if he left home. Then the person wouldn’t go to work because of the horoscope, thus taking away his responsibility. So astrology is not good in many
