Canada’s political system majorly affected Canada. Before ww1 Canada had major ties with Britain, everything Britain did was influenced on to Canada especially the war, the reason Canada fought in the war was because of Britain. Robert Borden also played a big role in the freedom of Canada, Robert Borden was the prime minister at the time of ww1, Robert Borden was a conservative and wanted Canada to have an independent seat when it came to signing the treaty of Versailles.
