Next, 90 days will be challenging for me as I have been informed that the implementation of new service has been accelerated. It has become a challenge for me due to two reasons: limited time for implementation; and compliance of the implementation with the results of a just-released mobile device security audit. I have the following ideas to overcome these challenges.
Step 1: Preliminary internal discussion (3 weeks): I will have a meeting with my internal team: two technical specialists, a communications person, and a strategic service provider partner (SSPP) to discuss this project. This meeting will also agree on what we should include on the new design and concepts of software; we would like to include an option of bringing …show more content…
We might be adding other folks as a Pilot team on an on-going basis. These are the people whom we will be working from the beginning to until the deployment to see how software has been working. We will release our latest software only these folks to get a feedback. I will also create a discussion forum internally to ask questions about this software glitches or problems. Anybody can help and collect suggestion which we will forward to SSPP for further improvement.
Step 7: Further improvement (2 weeks): Once we have collected any software glitches, problems or issues from the pilot team, we will convey this message to SSPP for further improvement. SSPP would incorporate these issues and updates the software which we will again deploy to Pilot Team to check its performance.
The above steps would be 90 days planning for me. However, my focus will continue to the improvement of this service until the day of implementation. I would plan to follow the following steps in my next 10-month …show more content…
There will be an end-user complaint, for example, design, function etc. In addition, there might be a complaint from other stakeholders from every ministry about less support available as end-users might not know whom to approach if they need help. There might be an issue of integrating the old and a new system, and the data might lose in transition. Sometimes every mobile device might not support a new software. Furthermore, there might be a problem for end-users to accept a change. As a human being, we have a kind of trend to believe or enjoy in one comfort zone, and if somebody changes a little bit we start to complain. It does apply the same principle here, it doesn't matter how simple new system would be, it would take some time for an end-user to accept the
