The reason I think being intellectual is more important than knowing how to do stuff is because you don't exactly have to do know how to do everything but what you do know how to do you need to become an expert at. Yes, don't get me wrong you still need to know how to do stuff but asking questions is more important to make sure you know why your doing it and if your doing it the right way.
