I think being "intellectual" is more important than knowing how to "do stuff". Yes you need to know how to do stuff but you also need to know why to do stuff. Just like Clarisse in Fahrenheit 451, anytime you would tell her something she would always ask like "well why is that" or "why would it be that way".

The reason I think being intellectual is more important than knowing how to do stuff is because you don't exactly have to do know how to do everything but what you do know how to do you need to become an expert at. Yes, don't get me wrong you still need to know how to do stuff but asking questions is more important to make sure you know why your doing it and if your doing it the right way.
