The Life of Jeffery Dahmer Jeffery Dahmer is one of the most popular cereal killers to ever appear in the United States. Dahmer is responsible for the deaths of 17 men, mostly African American. Dahmer was notorious for brutally murdering his victims, dismembering them, and even eating them in some cases. Most people that Dahmer encountered in his lifetime described him as a narcissist and a sociopath. Jeffery Dahmer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the first child of Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. His parents described him as a normal child until the age of 5, when a surgery seemed to have change him for the worst. Throughout most of his childhood, Dahmer mostly isolated himself from his classmates, and had very few friends. At a young age Dahmer seemed to be obsessed with death, telling his father that he liked the way that bones sounded when cleaning up dead animal remains under the crawlspace of their house. …show more content…
In high school he became an alcoholic, bringing alcohol to school and hiding it in his locker. It was also around this age that his parents went through a divorce, which most people believe to be the reason he started his violent actions. Dahmer’s first murder was at the age of 17, when he picked up a hitchhiker and brought him back to his parents’ house. When the hitchhiker tried to leave, Dahmer strangled the man, dismembered his body, and spread the remains in a forest behind his parents’
