If you are swimming at the beach, you could get caught in a rip current. Rip currents pull you out far into the water and are very hard to swim out of. Then of course, there is the possibility of a shark attack. Shark attacks are not common but do occur and are often deadly. Even though just swimming has many threats, that is just the beginning of it.
In the summer, it can get very hot, with temperatures exceeding 100°F. If you are outside exercising, there is the possibility that you can get heat stroke. Heat stroke is common, very serious, and sometimes
