At Lackawanna Trail, parents have their own meetings to discuss school matters such as curriculum being taught to their children, extra curricular activities, and advocacy towards a better learning environment for their children. The parents also help run school events such as bake sales and booster clubs. In addition, parents can help teachers understand the progress that their students need and are achieving by communicating (verbally and nonverbally) about their studies at home.
