Crest Analysis for Escape Outdoor Living Designs Inc.
Every business need to be aware of its surrounding which comes with some kind of research. For example, what is the demand in the market, what kind of strategies other businesses using, what is new in the market? all this question forces a company to go through research. one of them is crest analysis which includes competitive, regulatory, economical, socio-cultural and technological forces. It is important for an organization to keep record of its performance and product.

Escape been through many obstacles. It was challenging for harrison when there is not enough jobs to keep his crew busy because of recession where landscaping for most of the people is not first priority so he have to switch careers many times to maintain his cash flow. Landscape construction industry was also a higher risk industry as compared to landscape maintenance because of high cost of capital investments and expensive material cost. Secondly, he never found reliable foremen and crew members because as being a small company Escapes was limited in its ability to increase wages.(Pg- 5 and 6)
Socio- Cultural Environment
This environment includes social values such as ethics, human rights, gender roles and changing lifestyles. Landscaping is a expensive luxury for many people which make customer to have detailed information like cost, design etc. Secondly, Foremen leaving jobs within a short time period which brings complain from the customers as many of them were repeat clients and they were often disappointed to find out that their foremen from the previous year was no longer at Escapes which brings more pressure on new foremen to come up with more better services for their customers.(Pg-
