Language Throughout the years, the question, “Where did the different languages of the world come from?” has been asked. According to the bible, all different languages were formed when God mixed up the language of the builders of the Tower of Babel. The New American Version of the bible says, “The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel-because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth. If he had not screwed up their languages, the builders of the tower would have realized that anything that they wanted to do was possible. The saying was come up with by Dave Carnie and it is used to signify a non-sexual, friendly relationship between two guys. A supercut is a compilation of short video clips, usually showing a repeated action or phrase in a video or other production. The term was first used by blogger Andy Baio, in 2008. He describes a supercut as a genre of video meme (14 words that have come into existence.) There are over 7000 languages in the world, and about half of those are in danger of extinction. K. David Harrison, a language professor says that over half the languages are “Vulnerable to
