Las Vegas used to be one of the few places where gambling is legal, now with that in consideration that meant that people from all over the country would travel to Sin City to indulge in this specialty. With that being said, that means that Las Vegas was thriving off of other people’s money, people who are not even from the state of Nevada. That is where the power, money hungriness comes into play. Other states were seeing such benefits from gambling, and throughout time started legalizing it as well to attempt to make their state thrive as well. People crave that excitement they get when they are playing on slot machines or a game of poker. If the state they live in condones that, then they will go to a place where it’s glamorized. Creating happy people, in every way possible will be beneficial for a state and/or a business. Going out of your way to make people happy is what makes customers or residents loyal. Going to the extreme of passing a law just to potentially make the people happier while making ridiculous amounts of money simultaneously just shows the type of society we are
