How will they guide the planned learning activities? The learning goals for this lesson is that students will correctly label all continents and oceans. The standard that supports this learning goals is 6-8. Geographic Study. Tools of Social Science inquiry. C. The way this guides the planned learning activities is by having examples of the globe all around the room, and having them learn a song about the continents and the ocean.

Provide a rationale for your choice of each strategy. I have incorporated at least three learning styles in the lesson plan, kinesthetic, visual, and aural. Another instructional strategy I plan to use to engage the students in the lesson and enhance their learning is through music and songs.
b) How do the instructional strategies connect to the objective(s) to facilitate student learning? The instructional strategies connect to the objectives to facilitate students learning is by playing a music video that teaches the continents and the oceans and having the students create their own globe a visual aid and a hands on learning activity.
c) What informed your decisions to use individual, small-group, and/or whole-group instruction to facilitate student learning? My lesson plan has the students getting in groups of two. The reason I choose to put students in groups of two (I would group) is so that students can teach students. I a partner is not quite understanding something their partner is there to help. Some students listen better to other students.
