Sophomore English Research Paper Imagine if you were to be judged for who you were, or what you did, or even your gender type. In the world there are a lot of social injustices going on even to this very day. One of the most common and heard of social injustice would probably be the one of people being lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender. This issue has been going on for quite a long time now. Some people do not agree with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender projects. A lot of people suffer because of this injustice, and it also affects their whole lives. All kids should be educated in an atmosphere respectful of their sexual orientation and gender identity. Discrimination against Transgender people, “The ACLU strives to eliminate discrimination against transgender and gender nonconforming people and to create a society in which the full range of gender identities and expressions is respected and affirmed.”(LGBT Rights, 2).
Solutions. There are many solutions to solve this issue at hands. One solution that might solve this issue is too actually to give them a chance to speak out and know where they are coming from. We have to start accepting them into our lives, because it is not like the issue is going to go away like that, the LGBT people are going to continue to fight for their equality. Another solution would be to start communicating with them and spending time with them to learn more about them and realize that they are regular human beings just like us and no different. After all this is not something they choose to be. Avoid making assumptions about people's sexual orientation or gender identity based on their appearance or behavior. Don't assume one's spouse or partner is of the opposite sex. In Conclusion, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender rights have been a social injustice. LGBT people are being discriminated for who they are. A lot of people do not agree with LGBT people because they are different. Because of this a lot of
