The Sniper
In “The Sniper”, by Liam O'Flaherty, a war is going on and “the Sniper” spots an enemy from across the street on a rooftop. The enemy shot first so “the Sniper” knew he had to do something. He tricked the man who shot first and ended up shooting his enemy, but in the end, he comes to find out this wasn’t his enemy, was his brother. The man was only doing what he had to do to survive.
