The story “Don’t give up the Fight” and the article “Susan B Anthony Dares to Vote!” both share a common theme which is courage. For example in“Susan B Anthony Dares to Vote!”, Susan is showing courage by trying to show everyone that women should be able to vote and in “Don’t give up the Fight” Ava is showing courage by trying to prove herself to the team that she should be treated the same way as her fellow team players. While both stories have a common theme, the characters actions are different. In the story “Don’t give up the Fight” Ava actions show that she is being bullied by the other students and that affects her life, but in “Susan B Anthony Dares to Vote!” Susan’s actions show that she is affecting the lives of all women and that could get her in trouble. …show more content…
