Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were prominent figures in the civil rights movement during the 1960s, advocating for racial equality & justice. MLK Jr. was a Baptist minister and social activist, advocated for nonviolent resistance to achieve racial integration and equality for African Americans. On the other hand, Malcolm X was a spokesperson for the Nation of Islam and promoted self-defense against racial oppression. As for effectiveness in the world, some think King's message of nonviolence was more impactful in achieving legislative changes, while others believe that Malcom X's strong beliefs were better for facing the problems in African American communities.
