I noticed that Nailer’s perspective changed because before Nailer almost died in a room full of oil he would have killed the girl for her wealth without a second thought. Now, after Sloth, a member of the crew, left him to die because she thought she could smuggle the oil and become rich. Nailer hopes she will follow through with her blood oath and help him out of the doomed beach. However, Pima is doubting the girl’s reliability.

I think that Nailer made the right choice by letting the girl live because otherwise, he may have been rich, but he still would’ve been stuck at the beach. Nailer was looking for a way out because he knew he would’ve ended up the same way as everyone
