Marquis de Lafayette was a French general who played a paramount part during the Revolutionary War. He availed the colonists against the British, in credit of his strategic leadership. Not to mention he volunteered his time and money to assist the Americans, for free! After a while he managed to help the Americans win the war and was treated as a hero, most frequently denoted as the “Hero of Two Worlds” .
While accommodating his time in the Continental Army with great variance, he distributed his “tactical leadership” ("Marquis De Lafayette." Bio.com. A&E Networks Television) while securing essential resources back in France. However, Lafayette’s tactical adeptness and leadership is only a few of the reasons that made Lafayette a great leader.
