I believe medical marijuana is being used for the right reasons. This drug is being used for patients that can't take pills because of nausea and they can't get them down. Medical marijuana also helps people not overdose on the main pain relieving drugs. They are able to feel better faster. There is less addictive powers than leading medications, opioids. It is safer because the average medical marijuana users don't have even close to the same amount of overdoses due to the medication. The medical marijuana helps patients who are not able to take pills and the ones who have nausea. In other words, there are less addictive purposes and that the average medical marijuana user is way safer using this medication than the average opioid user (metro.co.ink).
Why medical marijuana is better than the leading pain pills, opioids. People overdose and more than 14,000 people died from opioids last year in the United States. Then there is less risks from side-affects hurting your body. Nevertheless there is less addiction in medical marijuana than opioids.
