Combining Nurse Leader with Advocacy
Nurse is not only a title and a job but also responsibility and self-realization/ self-satisfaction. Therefore, one must inspect and evaluate self regularly in personal and professional accountability, career planning, personal journey disciplines and reflective practice reference behaviors/tents in order to enhance oneself. The tool, Nurse Manager Skill Inventory (NMSI), offers the opportunity for individuals to identify strengths and weaknesses of the 4 content areas mentioned above and assist one advancement.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESS
In order to develop my personal leadership, I have opted to advance my education. In months, I will fulfill one of my goals to become an American accredited baccalaureate-prepared nurse. I have received continuing education and joined the organization, Association of California Nurse Leaders (ACNL), which extends my professional knowledge and skills, comprehends the relevant nursing regulations and trends, facilitates my practices following the nursing standards

In order to responsible for myself, I have a plan in my career and I am working on it step by step towards my career plan. I believe I have the abilities to adapt to future scenarios. These are my strengths without weakness in my career planning.
The merits in the personal journey disciplines are able to use the skills of action learning to effectively solve problems and provide practical advice; continue learning new knowledge and use it in clinical practice; be ready to perform leadership in all settings. The defects are that sometimes I forget to share leadership with coworkers; do not cultivate the leadership of others; am unable to appropriately use the knowledge of, and skill in, managing councils that promote sharing
