In “Ode the enchanted light” by Pablo Neruda It was a cicada who was sawing its song in to the empty air, and under a tree. In “Sleeping in the forest” by Mary Olive it sounds as if it’s a bird, that comes back repeatedly, at night, and in the woods; both are different because one is based off a tree ‘singing’ its song the other is about an animal of some sort coming back to one tree repeatedly. My topic sentence was about how this paragraph was going to be about contrasts and I have found a couple differences. ”both are different because one is based off a tree ‘singing’ its song the other is about an animal of some sort coming back to one tree repeatedly” The meaning of the quotation was to tell about how I found a couple differences in these stories. This paragraph overall proves my thesis statement because I said I was going to compare and contrast to see if the poets had the same writing style, while I was writing I was thinking that they are two different poets so they can’t have the same writing style, can they?
